The first collaboration since FROM HELL with former BMD drummer, Hellaeon.
It's near 15 years since DOOMSAYER (Guitars/Bass/Vocals/Synth) last collaborated with long-time comrade HELLAEON (Drums). Previously conspiring in Adelaidian entities such as Suffering, Beyond Mortal Dreams, ONI and Darklord, 2024 wrought a desire to construct something dark and primal between them.
HELLSTORM APOCALYPSE deliver four tracks and just under 30 minutes of destructive, dark black/death metal, plus a cover of ARMOURED ANGEL’s ‘Hymn of Hate’. Inevitably, some will look to draw parallels between past and present entities Doomsayer and Hellaeon have been involved with. Forewarned, HELLSTORM APOCALYPSE is its own unhinged beast. Thick, churning riffs, righteous guitar solos and dynamic synth passages combine to create insidiously aphotic soundscapes.
Angels fall, demons rise, the portal opened, a world of fire. Hellstorm Apocalypse awaits.
